So you want this school year to be a huge success, huh? This school is better because your family is a part of it. And every time your family contributes, the better it gets. At MOS, every community member commits to serve in one way or another, knowing that their family and this community are all the better for it. We ask for 100% participation… but we promise not to ask for too much. STEP 1: Join a Committee Fundraising Committee: Organizes events like the walkathon, garden party, or another fundraisers to financially support our school's initiatives. If you’re entrepreneurial and energetic, we need your skills here. Grounds Committee: Maintains our bungalow garden and ensures our elementary school grounds are in top shape. If you’re handy and have tools… join this one. Events Committee: Plans socials, potlucks, parent get-togethers, and school dances to foster community spirit. If partying is your special skill, this is how you contribute best! Health Advisory Committee: Shapes our school health protocols and policies to ensure the well-being of our students. If you’re a medical professional, let us know and we’ll try to find you a spot. STEP 2: Give us your input What clubs would your child love to participate in this year? Newspaper? Drama? Dance? Engineering with legos? We're open to suggestions to enrich our extracurricular offerings… especially if you’re open to volunteering as a teacher.
