Summer Camp at The Morgan Oliver School
Our summer camps offer a balanced and joyful experience designed to meet the needs of every camper. Each week blends hands-on cooking activities, creative art projects, engaging STEM challenges, and plenty of outdoor play. Campers enjoy nature walks, story times, and daily free-choice centers that encourage imagination, independence, and collaboration. Our multi-age approach allows every child to explore at their own pace while building confidence, friendships, and new skills. Every camp week is thoughtfully planned to nurture curiosity, support the whole child, and create a memorable summer filled with learning and fun.

Session 1:
Young Chefs, Big Flavors
​June 8-12
Ages 4–6
Young chefs explore food through play, stories, and hands-on cooking. Campers practice safe kitchen skills, mix and measure ingredients, and learn where food comes from. The focus is sensory exploration, cooperation, and joy in trying new things.

Ages 7–9
Campers cook daily, explore foods from different cultures, and begin following simple recipes independently. They practice measuring, sequencing, and teamwork while experimenting with flavors and presentation. Kids collaborate on menus and share their creations proudly.

Ages 10–12
Older campers dive deeper into culinary skills, recipe design, and food science. They experiment with flavor balance, scaling recipes, and plating, and may work toward a culminating café or tasting event. Emphasis is on independence, creativity, and leadership in the kitchen.

Mystical Adventures​

Ages 4–6
Young campers step into magical worlds through imaginative play, stories, and hands-on creation. Each day might include building fairy homes, inventing gentle mythical creatures, dressing up for pretend quests, and acting out stories together.

Campers explore myths, legends, and fantasy worlds through creative challenges and collaborative storytelling. They design their own characters, maps, and magical objects, work together on quests, and bring stories to life through art, building, and drama.

Ages 10–12
Older campers dive into complex fantasy worlds inspired by mythology, folklore, and epic storytelling. They develop characters with backstories, create rules for magical systems, design quests, and explore themes like courage, power, loyalty, and choice.

Minecraft IRL – Build the World
June 22-26
Ages 4–6
Campers build simple structures, landscapes, and imaginary worlds using blocks, cardboard, and loose parts. Cooperative play, storytelling, and spatial exploration are central to the experience.

Ages 7–9
Kids design and build themed biomes, work through collaborative building challenges, and experiment with basic engineering concepts like stability and flow. Problem-solving and teamwork drive each day.

Ages 10–12
Older campers tackle complex design challenges inspired by real-world engineering. They plan builds, test systems, redesign structures, and reflect on strategy, efficiency, and collaboration — all without screens.

Campers experiment with a wide range of materials and techniques while learning about artists and styles. They begin making intentional choices, reflecting on their work, and collaborating on shared art installations.

Older artists dive into advanced techniques, mixed media, and conceptual art challenges. They explore artistic voice, critique, and long-term projects, culminating in a studio-style showcase.

Older campers work through complex design cycles, applying engineering principles and documenting their process. The week culminates in an invention expo where campers present and explain their creations.

Kindness Champions Camp
Introduce your child to the power of kindness and inclusion. Through stories, crafts, and cooperative games, they’ll learn about empathy, fairness, and celebrating differences. This camp helps young children build a foundation for understanding justice in ways that are fun, age-appropriate, and engaging.
Ages 7-9
Community Builders Camp
Empower your child to make a difference! Campers will explore topics like teamwork, equality, and environmental stewardship through interactive activities, group discussions, and creative projects. They’ll gain practical tools for advocating for fairness and be inspired to see how their actions can create positive change in their community.
Ages 10-13
Youth Activist Academy
Give your child the opportunity to lead and create change. This camp dives into issues like social equity, environmental justice, and community organizing through workshops, debates, and collaborative projects. Campers will design and present an action plan for a cause they care about, building confidence, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Little Chefs, Big Flavors
Age 5-11
In this hands-on cooking camp, kids will learn kitchen basics while making real food from around the world. Each day includes a featured recipe, knife and safety skills, and plenty of tasting.
We’ll explore fresh ingredients, practice teamwork, and end the week with a shared tasting party. No experience needed—just curiosity and an appetite to try something new.
Camp Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. To accommodate unforeseen circumstances while ensuring the sustainability of our programs, the following cancellation policy applies:
Camp Credit for Cancellations

30+ Days Notice:

Cancellations made 30 or more days before the camp start date are eligible for a 100% camp credit to be applied toward any future camp or program within 12 months of the original camp start date.

Emergency Situations

Emergency Cancellations:

For cancellations made less than 30 days before the camp start date due to a documented emergency (e.g., illness, family emergency), families may request a full camp credit or a 50% refund upon submission of supporting documentation. Examples of acceptable documentation include:

Doctor’s note for medical issues.

Proof of family emergency, such as an obituary or relevant paperwork.

Requests for emergency credits or refunds must be submitted within 10 days of the camp start date.

Non-Transferable Credits

Camp credits are non-transferable and can only be applied to future camps or programs within the same family.
How to Cancel

To cancel your registration, email us at admissions@morganoliverschool.org with your child’s name, camp session details, and reason for cancellation. For emergencies, please attach the required documentation.
