About Néhémie

With over a decade of experience in fundraising and strategic planning, Néhéme Lucien not only is a proud parent to one of our new Organizers and in her career has made a remarkable impact supporting mission-driven organizations, particularly in education and the arts. As a proven leader in securing significant grants and fostering sustainable partnerships, Néhéme brings a strong background in process improvement, donor relations, and values-based leadership.

Since August, Néhéme has been working closely with Head of School Sanidia Oliver-Stone, building out a grant portfolio, drafting letters of intent, and submitting proposals. Together, they have already submitted proposals for over $100K in funding for Morgan Oliver School.
Career highlights include:
* Managing $11M in gifts and securing $3M in grants within six months at the Sundance Institute.
* Transforming fundraising strategies at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, generating $1.25M in 18 months for the Education Vision Expansion campaign.
* Driving operational improvements for Communities in Schools of Marietta & Cobb County, increasing student participation in college prep programs by 32%.

An expert in fundraising strategy, board governance, and technology platforms like Raiser’s Edge and Salesforce, Néhéme is committed to advancing educational equity through innovative solutions. Her passion for education, strategic acumen, and proven results are already making a significant impact on the growth and sustainability of Morgan Oliver School.
